What we review
We review verifiable factual errors, material missing context, changed eligibility or dates, mistranslations, broken official links, and privacy, copyright, or likeness concerns. A difference of opinion, unsupported promotion, search-ranking requests, ad-click requests, threats, spam, or illegal demands are not handled as corrections.
What to submit
Provide the article URL, the exact sentence or screen location, the requested change, the date checked, and a verifiable primary document, filing, or rights record. Do not send passwords, financial-account details, government identifiers, or medical records.
Review order and priority
We first confirm that the request identifies a specific publication and checkable evidence. Material errors affecting health or safety, amounts, eligibility, deadlines, identity, or rights are prioritized. Timing depends on complexity and responses from responsible organizations; we do not promise a universal response deadline.
Possible outcomes
The outcome may be a typographical or link fix, a factual or contextual update, removal of an unsupported assertion, a dated correction note, or no change when the submitted claim cannot be verified. Material changes state the date and reason in the publication.
Privacy and rights claims
Submission data is used only as reasonably needed to review, reply, address a dispute, and protect the service. Copyright or likeness claims may require minimal evidence that the requester controls the affected right.
